Bees are one of the most important insects. They provide us with fruits, vegetables, honey, beautiful flowers and they produce beeswax which is a great ingredient in lip balms.
Besides from being moisturizing, beeswax has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-oxidant characteristics which makes it ideal for cracked and dry lips.
Two of my favourite beeswax lip products are Burt's Bees lipstick & Sierra Bees Lip Shimmer. Burt's Bees lipsticks are made with Moringa oil to help moisturize and Raspberry seed oil which improves the lips skin elasticity and Sierra bees lip shimmer is made with sustainable USDA-certified beeswax.
